Mary Ellen Furlong

At D. Scott Neal, Inc., Mary Ellen Furlong helps clients with account set-up and maintenance. She also works with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and other firm functions.

A Louisville native, Mary Ellen came to D. Scott Neal, Inc. in 2008, after spending more than 15 years working for local arts organizations. Most recently she was a curator of exhibitions at the Kentucky Museum of Art and Craft. For eight years Mary Ellen served as a free-lance writer for Business First newspaper in Louisville, where she won several awards from the Society of Professional Journalists.

Mary Ellen graduated Cum Laude from Bellarmine University in 1986, with a double major in fine art/painting and business administration. In her spare time she continues to paint and to be involved with the local arts community in various ways. She has served as a judge for various art events, including the Belgravia Court portion of the St. James Court Art Show.
